Low fuel light and gauge issues
Hello,
Have a '97 Intrepid Sport with 3.5 liter engine. 67,000 miles, bought used 1 year ago. One month ago, check engine light comes on with code 34. Idle is rough, car rumbles at a stop. Shop replaces ignition coil. One week later, code 34. Different shop says the wires and plugs need to be replaced, I am misfiring on a cylinder. T$300+ later, check engine light off but the car is still rumbling at idle. NOW---every 30-60 seconds, the low fuel light comes on and the fuel gauge dips a bit at the same time. Doesn't seem to be affecting the running of the engine and no check engine light though it still runs rough. Any suggestions about the low fuel light, gauge fluctuations?

Check to see if the intake manifold gaskets are okay and check the EGR valve. My intake manifold gasket went out and it ran rough, and set the Check Engine light off. It might have been code 34, I don't remember.
