Hello all! I have just inherited a 97 Intrepid 3.3 with 200,000 km from my father. I have 2 questions. First. We just put in a junk yard motor and realised it was noisey. We forst thought it was the rockers ratteling on the shaft. So we replaced the shafts and the rockers......the noise got better but there is a ticking that we now think is a piston slap. My question is....how can I quiet this down with out taking the engine apart again (too expensive) Can I use thicker oil? use an additive? How long do you think the car will last me? (only gets driven 15 miles per day.)

Second Question....the car has all power options.....how can I tell If the car has RKE or not. It was purchased at an auction about 4 years ago and there was no key fob.
