My girlfriends sister was driving her car home (96 or 97, can't remember, 3.5L, 82k) and it was running fine down the road, but started to lose power gradually and now it won't start. I know this is vague, and I am going to go take a closer look at it now that I am home from work, but I was wondering for quick things to look for that would cause it to not start. I will post back a little later with some more info.

I have a '96 & a buddy that has a '97. My machanic told me when I bought mine that they have a problom with the timing pully. I guess they are made of plastic and can melt if driven hard(spinning your tires, etc.) My buddy had his go last year for this reason, & it cost him something like $600.00. Hope thats not the problom, but keep that in mind.
