Can Some Please Advise Me!!!
I have a 96' Dodge intrepid. it has sat for the past 4 years. It was parked and never drove since. I got the car from a friend. He tried to start it, it wouldnt start so he hooked up jumper cables and tried to start it. It started as soon as he took the cables off the windows started going up and down then when the car died it wouldn't start back up. I took it to the dealer and they diagnosed it to be the pcm(Power ControlModule). I replaced it it still wont start. It's like im not getting no fuel so no fire. I have no clue as to what else it could be. DO you think you could give me some tips as to where to start or what to do next??? Thank You
some simple things you may have overlooked...
change the gas(drain tank completly, then fill with fresh gas....gas will go bad)
change the battery, will it still crank over? or does it do nothing when you turn the key?
after that, take the fuel line off the rail and see if gas is going through it. Check you fuel injectors.
I recently started a 97 Concorde after it sitting for 7 years, all I did was a new battery and poured dry gas and octane booster in the tank. With a few pumps of the pedal while turning the key, it started right up
Good luck, keep us updated
O yea, WELCOME TO DF!!!!!
