Auction fever. Amazing how many times it happens. The other thing is an item goes for a reasonable price but the shipping is out of control. I like the ones where the shipping and handling is $25 to $45 and you know it's coming UPS for like $15.

Thats because of the ebay costs to list and sell parts. If a seller sells you something for $100 and get charged say 3% of the final sale and it costs $10 to ship it to you, then get a $97. If they sale it to you for $50 and pay the 3% and ship it to you for $65, then they get $103.50. It's only a $6 diiference, but it will add up real quick.

 

kinda like the srt4 stage 1 injectors i was gonna get.....until i saw the shipping price...
buy it now $50.00 with $100.00 shipping...........for 4 injectors[&:]

 

yeah for that price someone was just being gay and if you list it cheaper it will end up higher at the top of the list depending how how you have your e bay set up . . . by price it will be higer on the list and someone will come across it first or more often.

 

ebay uually goes by the time listed or the time remaining in the auction though.....

i put my iceman on ebay the other day.......still has a little more then 4 days left and its at $86.00 with 10 watchers

 

I'm one of those watchers ...I'm not bidding though...just curious.
