Default transmission 3rd gear

I almost have her done. Thank you for your help. You've gotten me through everything else and now I have another problem:

When the car is cold it has an issue shifting into 3 rd gear. I have to take it up to around 75mph before it shifts. After that it increasingly gets easier to shift into 3rd gear. Once it's warm no problem at all. I do not know what to try to fix it. It was previously sitting for 2 years. Then I did the head gasket and timing and she runs great except for the shifting problem. It had no issue what so ever when parked with the blown head gasket 2 years ago. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great thanks

Thefluid is full and I added a bottle of Lucus too. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Neons don't have an overdrive...that is the torque lockup converter kicking on.

You should not add anything to the tranny fluid. Mopar ATF+4 is ALL you need.

Has the trans. fluid and filter been changed? A clogged filter can sometimes restrict flow when cold and act normal when warm. Recommended fluid and filter change is every 30,000 miles but I know a lot of people never do.
