Default wheel bearings???!!!

ok well i was driving around today and as i would coast up to red light or something (aka put the car in N and then well coast to it.) i would hear this grinding noise coming from my front tires. and then would i hit my brakes it would go to my right rear tire (least it sounded like it). the brake pads are good, as well as the back brake pads. could this be a wheel bearings going bad in the front?

You have rear discs?

Jack it up and spin the wheel. A bad wheel[/b] bearing will have some play if you push-pull the wheel[/b], or will feel rough when the wheel[/b] is rotated.
