Default mtx swap

i almost started this project about 3 months ago and never did i almost sold my neon the other day for 1000 to get a crx i decided to stick with my neon but i cant have an automatic running the wayi want to. i want to have a 5 spd put in it but im having trouble finding a neon i can get all the **** from. does it have to be a neons manual or is there alot of possibilites when lookin for a manual transmission . a know a little about engines but nuttin really about a tranny i know ill need manual pcms with the swap . also i was wonderin how long this would take and the difficulty of the project .. anyone whos swapped one or knows what their talking about gimme some pointers plz im only 16 and not much of a mechanic other than a few simple things ive done an exhaust made then put a real intake into my car and other silly things like change oil plugs wires all them goodies so would this be out of my ability lemme know

yeah thats probably the best link^^^ for the swap. But Im gonna take a bunch of pics and write down everything I do and try and get a sticky on here for the swap. I have printed this link^^ off and studied it.

ive swapped 4 neons from ATX to MTX, its actually not that hard, evrything bolts right up except the bobble strut, i ran mine forever without it and never had any problems other than having to use urathane mount inserts.
