anyone have an easy way to unstick the throttle downshift lever on the auto trans? its stuck moving with the shifter
pisses me off i justgave away 2 good autos now i need parts for one

 

i had this problem before....just took alot of PB blast and a few days....
spray...wiggle....soak...then repeat...

i thought that the kickdown unbolts from the downshift lever....but i cant exactly remember
if it does then unbolt it and clean the shaft

 

its stuck good, i just dont feel like taking the valve body out to get it all the way apart.suppose ill spray it again, been hosin it with PB for 2 weeks and whackin it with a hammer & cant get it to budge, im beginning to wonder if someone welded it ( its in a race car that you usually manually shift anyway)

 

i just had that issue too but i dont think it was that stuck cause i just kept gettin on it and it came loose itself works fine now
