97 Neon bucking on freeway, stalling. HELP?

IAC Valve is $49.99 plus tax from Autozone and takes about 10-15 minutes to change. No way should you pay $329 to fix that. Do you know anyone with ANY mechanical aptitude?
And what "tubes" are you talking about that need to be replaced.

Thanks for the link to the part. I'll try to research that and talk to him. I have yet to research the fuel pump module but I will.
Yea...I have no clue what hes talking about when he says "tubes".IAC valve can be replaced in like 10 min as das said, why pay a shop over $50 to do it, + the towing which sounds outrageous.Have him put everything he says in writing so we can all read it and laugh and point out all his mistakes and BS. I know the towing costs that much. It was 30+ miles, and I called the towing company myself just before I decided to do it and asked how much.

i thought timing belt too, then it happend to me about 2 days ago. timing belt didnt help, it turned outh that the stock coil pach gets way too hot ontop of the engine and just stops, get an MSD problem solved (for me

I have a 98 Neon doing the same thing
I replaced the EGR Valve
I replaced the plugs
I replaced ignition wires
I replaced the MAP sensor
The car just feels starved for horse power and bucks at low speeds and when im on the highway
