Just got a pair of TYC headlights off Ebay (of course) and PIAA bulbs. Put the lights in and the drivers side was a mother. Passenger side was no problem, but drivers side seemed like it didn't want to go in the whole way. When I aimed the lights, it looked like the light wanted to fall out. After much brain strain, I got out the old lady's dremel and went to town on the assembly. All looks good, but I won't know until this evening when I go for a spin. Has anyone else had a problem with aftermarket lights? I did notice that the factory ones fit like crap on the driver's side, too.
I have TYCs and I had no issues during the installation.you have to match up the bulb with the hole, there is some rubber/plastic it has to fit through b4 you can screw it in.
there is the plastic piece that screws onto the back of the bulb....but the bulb itself has a little notch in it...and on the headlight there is a small nipple that you have to lign up
my old headlights were a bitch to come off but than i realized they were yellow and i would never wanna see them again and i broke them off made the job much easier and faster
