Default Engine Trouble (video)

Hey I'm brand new to this forum. I know a little about cars but cant seem to figure this problem out.

My first thought is this sound is a rod knock, but all the pistons are firing fine and the compression on each cylinder is about 165 psi. The car seems to have all of its power still but it makes a loud knocking sound. I took off the valve cover and cranked it over to see if there might be a bent valve or something, didn't hear any sound cranking it over. This might just be because the engine wasn't turning fast enough but i dont know. I'm going to be taking the oil pan off soon and see if theres anything wrong with the underside. I can't pin point this sound was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what this might be?

1997 Dodge Neon 2.0 L DOHC 151k miles, yeah kinda old but i'd rather fix this than buy a new car just got it like 3 months ago.

This is video of what the sound is.

Thanks for anyone that can help even just a little bit. I'll update when i look at the bottom half of the engine.

so i dropped the oil pan and checked the rods. seems the 3rd cylinder spun the bearing. going to replace it. crank seems fine, somehow its not scored and it's within the tolerances. i had hoped it was a spun bearing before this happened and had murry's order me one. i went and picked it up and told them i needed a standard size one, of course they screw that up and got me an oversized... i tried putting it on thinking the crank MIGHT be worn down some but no dice it just won't fit. now another day without a car.

Yeah I won't doubt it could have been an oil problem... I just got the car about a month ago from my sister and she's been known to not watch oil levels. Previous to this she let all the oil burn up in a crown vic and seized the motor. oh well if i can replace this bearing and have the car run normal again i'll be happy.

Sounds like you may have caught it early enough not to damage the journals.
