Hi,
My car was broken in over the weekend and i need to replace the driverside window. Is it easy to replace? I found a salvage lot that is selling a replacement glass for $50 CDN. Do i need only the glass or does the whole window (glass and mechanics) come as a unit. Any guides online on how to do it?

 

glass is seperate from the regulator do you have power or manual windows? you will need a set of torx bits for the screw behind the handle and a phillips and if you have manual windows you will need to get the clip off the back side of the window crank. its kind of a pain in the butt but if you ly on the ground you can see it better and a 10 mm socket and wrachet with an extension pretty simple though and good price on window
make sure you get a shop vac and vacuume out all the glass from the door. may need a razor blade to trim holes in the black sound deading material they have behind the pannel
