speedometer problems PLEASE HELP!!!

Default speedometer problems PLEASE HELP!!!

We replaced the electronic board on the dash with a brand new one from Chrysler. Now all gages work but speedometer doesn't. 1995 Dodge Neon

Did your odometer stop working as well? If so, you have a bad VSS (vehicle speed sensor).

I am almost afraid to ask how much the new cluster cost from the dealer. You can probably take it back since it did not fix your problem.

I had the same problem....i took of the cluster and resoldered all the connections and it worked well

before i learned about the re-soldering the connections, i got a qoute from a dealership and it was $400. but then i went on ebay and bought one for $40.

You may have to look at the connections where the cluster plugs into. Your problem may be there.
