is it okay to run a neon with no muffler...it sounds pretty ricey, but i kinda like the burbling affect it makes. I might get a cheap ebay muffler just to stay legal...Also when you take off the power steering completly do you need to plug the holes underneith the car. Im planing on runing a custom intake to where the ps pulley was. it seems to be original and spaceous. The flex tubing should fit underneith the intake manifold right? What size tubing should i get, 3 inch....by the way i have an auto...and dont plan on swaping anytime soon.

It's OK to run it without the muffler, but will be loud. You don't need to loop or plug the lines, though you might want to if you ever plan on selling it.

 

you might wanna stay sumwhat small on the pipe.....otherwise, how are you gonna fit it around the intake manifold???
