Default springs and struts

I just got the neon yesterday i was talking about earlier. I'll post pics once i get my camera working again. It was lowered and i must say, what a uncomfortable ride. The lightest of bumps bounces me to the roof, and due to the body kit it sits about 2 inches max off the ground. So i want to put new springs and struts on that will raise it to stock height so the body kit won't interfere with things like speed bumps and such. I still need a stiff ride but nothing like this. I can't have to much give or i'll scrap the bumper on the ground. Note i live in PA so bumps are a problem.

Default RE: springs and struts

get either KYB GR2s or Konis (if you have the money for Konis )

then if you can find Mopar High Rate Springs then those are best
other than that just get Skunk 2 springs

cheapest and most reasonable setup for the money would be KYBs with Skunk 2s

^^He wants to raise the car to stock height.

I'd suggest either some ACR or R/T springs. A little stiffer than the regular springs but not near as bad as lowering springs.

thanks das, what do you suggest with sturts? they may have been replaced before with something else, i won't know till i look. With stock height and a body kit, think i can easily drive around and go over speed bumps(need to for college)?

KYB GR-2's are good struts to replace the stock ones with.

Not to sure yet, when i take off the springs i'll look to see. The guy who put the car together before the previous owner had it didn't do anything cheap. So i'm sure it is something good, hoping at least. I just need to get away from bumps and speed bumps. So with stock springs(r/t if i can find) i'll be fine for daily driving? I'm new to cars with kits on.

alittle off topic but how much is a used iceman worth? and can you or anyone make me a 3.0 cai?(i'm just wondering, have very little free time right now with everything going on at home and with repairs to the neon) I'm going to the yard in the morning so i can look for the piece off a caravan or something in the yard.
