My brother has a 1999 Neon SOHC and he's looking to make a little power just to have some fun with it...Ive already built him a cold air intake and welded up a magnaflow cat and a 60 series Flowmaster muffler....also upgraded to 2 and 3/4" pipe...anything else I can do to it to get it around 130-160hp?

 

underdrive pully and PCM. would be good
also porting and polishing the intake would give you a little bit more

 

in order to get to the 160 point you wil need a bit more then that...
just drop in a dohc and mod it a little

 

cold air intake, exhaust, udp, cam, ecu

maybe 1 or two more things and you'll get around 160 to the crank

if you got a DOHC and wanted 160 you wont have as much tq as a SOHC at 160
