rear motor mount (spud Das racerx?)
how in the hell do you get it in the whole thing not just the insert but the metal part and all. ive been in the proscees of changing trannys as many of you know and im almost done about 5 months later, and i cant figure out how to get that rear mount in there, or how it lines up with the holes on the top of the tranny. any help at all would be great

mount the bobble strut in the hole on the tranny mount first.....then give the bottom of the strut a hard pull and see if you can pull it out a little more.....if not, then remove the big bolt in the front motor mount...that will allow you to swivel the motor back and forth......place a jack under the front mount and jack it up....that should give you enough slack to get the cross bolt in the bottom of the bobble strut...
dont know if you follow me on this.....but i tried[&:]

if its the mount on the drivers side under the pcm then put a jack under the tranny and lower it as far as it can go....from there, if you have the tire off then you can maneuver the mount in from the wheel well.....use a long extension to get the top bolt in and the 2 side bolts can be reached from the wheel well.....then just jack the tranny up and the mount will slide into place on the car......then put the long bolt in through the wheel well
