Default wastegate

since i havent really tuned alota turbo cars and havent messed with waste gates before i have a few questions. i am plannin on using either an agp or forge wastegate. wen i go to tune my boost levels i only want to run 5 pounds on the street. my question is....
1) how do i setup the wastegate to run low boost like that?
2) do i use different springs or adjust the actuator lever.?
3) will using different bov springs change anything with regard to the bov?( i have a forge bov with like 4 different springs to choose)

the arm on the wastegate adjusts by just turning it and then tighten the jam nut........the longer the lever, the less boost you will see....unscrew it as far as you can....then tighten it about 1/4 inch...that should be about 2-3psi from there you will have to adjust it as you have the car running

couldnt tell you about the blow off valve....i have the mopar plate style on mine

different springs for thebov are for higher boost levels, you want to keep a weaker sping in so it opens faster and easier and keeps surging to zero or to a minimum, but the spring will only hold so much boost before it leaks under boost. a stiffer spring will make it louder because its harder to open and wont open as far but also that makes the turbo slow down faster between shiftsfrom the extra backed up pressure.
