what does the sohc redline at? because after working on mine i noticed that at about 4-4,500 rpms the car doesnt wanna pull at all and im forced to shift...

 

6750 is the rev limiter, what did you do to your car?

 

peak tq is at i think 5k
peak hp is at i think 6k

 

i replaced the cam seal and had to take off all the belts.... did i screw up the timing?

 

thats what it sounds like.
if the cam is outof time it wont rev. you must have the cam advanced a tooth or 2.

 

sohc is 6200-6250. check your sensors.

 

the rev till they quit on the limiter, 6750and have no trouble getting there.
if it wont rev and the timing belt was just apart, i bet its out of time.
ive seen it enough times and jumped enough belts in the race cars.
