98-99's don't have the flaking problem like the 95-96's. Not sure about the 97's. But it was more of the light colored neons that have the problem. My red 96 ACR's paint is in GREAT condition.

no offence, but who in their right mind steals a neon?
hell gofor something with big value at least.. geesh.
I dont know... there is something about Neons that makes people want to steal them. Mine has been stolen and recovered twice. Now I have an alarm, a kill switch,lock all my doors all the time, and use The Club.

that is kinda funny but my car was in Detroit so i dont think they will recover it? how long did it take them to recover each time?
