throttle body question

i gotta dohc mtx w/cai. i heard that getting a 52mm tb will increase hp. imma go to the junkyard to get one. do i get it off a dohc atx or sohc atx. or does it matter. and will my cai work with the new tb.

you can get it off of a sohc or dohc...doesnt matter
the cai will work fine

but will it make a difference after its installed?and will i need to make any modifications or will it just bolt on and hook right up?
