I did my atx to mtx swap 95 dohc. but at the track my rev limiter was going off at 4000to4500 range.but I am still wondering what is causing this. In nuetral it does not seem to go off.I just noticed the vss was unpluged dont know if that had anything to do with it. And also for anyone else doing the swap I had to put a smaller tripod or u joint in the driverside axle took the one from the old pass side axle.Tranny was from a 99.

 

does it still have the auto pcm in it now???? if so, then thats your problem

 

10-4, it still has the auto pcm.

 

met the mtx pcm and you will be good to go
