what is the difference betweenatx andmtx cold air intakes. i have atx and i ordered an intake for an mtx. i dont think i should have any problems but im beginning to second guess myself. i know someone can help. i cant find anything within the first 15 pages to help me

 

it's all about thesize of the intakethe atx are longer than the mtx's....i think i could be wrong.

 

yeah it's a clearance issue with the transmission. the atx is designed to fit in a slightly smaller place, while with mtx, you basically have all the room you need. so you bought an atx cai for an mtx neon? it will fit.

question though, what brand is it? do you have pictures? im just curious.

 

The only intake where it makes a difference is the Iceman intake. All the ebay ones will be the same.
