When i went to get my car safetied today..

They told me I needed rear struts.. Now how much do you think it would cost to put these in?

They are charging me $500 for the job which i think is crazy expensive..

Do it yourself and save the money. $50/per strut and then free installation. Try and get some KYB GR-2 struts.

i phoned around to 10 different places..

ended up getting 2 monroe struts $80/peice


no one offered free installation. and i cant really drive my car anywhere yet cuz its not licensed yet.. tried to get a 10 day permit and the loser i bought it off of <dealer> marked it down as unsafe so they wouldnt give me one [:@]

Will keep updated on installation price. im not paying anymore then $100

Free installation if you do it yourself. It isn't that hard. You can rent a spring compressor from Autzone for free, pay a deposit and get it back when you return it, and boom. Here are the KYB's on ebay for $111 shipped.
