My 95 neon 2.0 sohc all of a sudden shut off and i removed the fuel line in front on the pump and its really weak. It comes out but it looks like it does not have enough pressure. I changed the pump to another one and same thing and fuel is not getting to the engine. I changed the relay and no help what can the problem be? thanks lmk

 

the pressure regulator might be cloged or going bad

 

Do you mean the regulator on the pump assembly unit or does it has another regulator on the fuel rail? Also is the regulator thats in the pump assy need a vacum line connected to it because mine does not has one. thanks lmk

 

Also can the regulator on the pump assy unit be removed and cleaned?

 

there is no vaccum line tothe regulator on the pump and it can be removed by depressing 2 small metal tabs on the side uf the unit an twisting it....
