Hello everyone!

I just bought a 1998 4 door from someone... and i need some parts....

headed off to the junkyard in a bit to get them but need to know what years match a 1998...

what i am looking for is a passenger front door, and an ignition cylinder (car was stolen and recovered.....)

most parts are interchangable from 95-99. i know the front door could be any year. I think the ignition cyl. would be interchangable as well.

 

thanks for the quick response.... wont be the prettiest car in the world (for awhile anyways) but should safely get me from work to home..... and for 300.00 i couldnt pass ti up

I would be careful on the ignition, im not sure but it is something car manufacturers tend to change throught production, I would try to get something from a 1998, And I would just get a whole columb and replace it... On the door, 95-99 should work just fine.

 

well thanks so much for the help..... upon further viewing of the car.... the ignotion cylinder is there and intact the bad news is the pot metal that surrounds the cylinder and holds it in is damaged... anyone know how to take that apart?
