Default Engine miss (cooling fan related)

95 Neon with a bad engine miss whenever the rad fan is on. It runs normal except when the rad fan kicks in.
No cel codes and charge voltage is 14.0v.
Any Ideas?

Sounds like a bad alternator, when the fan kicks on and draws the extra power, it is draining the battery causing the engine to sputter.

That's what I thought too, but when I load tested the battery and alternator they both passed.

Start looking for a short in your wiring harness for the radiator fans. Also, check your grounds too! Neons are all about their grounds!

I put a charger on for a while and the problem pretty much quit. I'm thinking the charge voltage is a bit low at 14.0 volts (I think it should be around 14.5v). When I get a chance I'll pull the air cleaner housing out so I can measure the voltage right off of the alternator charge terminal to eliminate the possibility of a poor connection.
