wow i actually thought that when i clicked on the link for this post that it would be interesting but after i counted the word Rice about 150 times i quit reading and put up my middle finger to my computer screen.

 

I'm with you on that. Every time i get on here there always seems to be a new rice tread started its getting out of control and pissing me off only thing that makes this tread any good is the pic thatDr_KY posted lol.

Turbo doesn't guarantee victory, I bet even if you turbo'ed your Neona stock 440Ci 68 PlymouthGTX with a 4 speedcould still own it. Alot of upgrades and moneyneed to happen for our cars to kick *** down to 13 second- 12 second quarters while most muscle cars could do a 12 secondwith a cam and carb upgrade or headers. Dick Landy's stock 1968426 Hemi Charger 4 speedjust upgraded with headers,timing advance,Drag Slicksand air cleaner removed ran a 11 second quarter mile with stock body stock engine with no internalupgrades except for the ones I mentioned! wouldn't that be awesome if thats all we had to do to our Neons to get insane performance?

Here is the reason I drive a neon. I have own v8's and how hard is it to get 500-600 horses out. Not that hard at all. Hell you can get someof them doing that much from the factory. But to do that out of 4 banger. That is doing something right there.

 

i dont care what people say about my car.. what i do care about is a neon owner saying his car isnt rice but then pointing the finger at another neon owner and sayingsomebody elsesis.... thats that this whole thing is about
