okay, so i finally got that motor mount bolt done and as im driving it home from the shop i realized that there is a light steam coming from under my hood... the cars temp is perfect, fan kicked on and everything but a light steam was coming from the exhaust manifold area... i removed the valve cover not too long ago and am wondering if i messed up the gasket or something which is allowing a slow oil leak to hit the exhaust manifold... anybody ever hear of this problem? any info would help thanks every1

 

could you have spilled something on the motor, id get some engine de-greaser, and give it a good cleaning and a washdown, make sure its running while u do that. take it on the e-way for 15 min, and then when u get back home, see if its still smokin.

 

i saw that yesterday in traffic. every few minutes a varryy light puff of smoke. if u didnt stare u couldnt notice it.. temps were good and everything. i think it was something i musta spilled or the engine.

well when i poured power steering in it got a little messy lol hopefully thats all it is because it is smoking from that area right by the exhaust manifold
