Hey everyone,

I am thinking about just rebuilding my 1995 dodge neon. Right now its got the headgasket issue and the auto tranny is going bad. I am thinking about replacing the tranny and either rebuilding the engine or buying a new one. The engine I have now is a used one because the first engine I had went bad due to the same headgasket issues. I am not a car genius but I just want to learn and have a little hobby on the side. My question is, should I just get Mopar factory parts or should I look and get third party replacement parts?

 

it all depends. if you go to modernperformance.com they have awesome Neon parts. plus a head gasket kit for $85 (its a Mopar one).
