just curious, how fast can a built neon go? top speed wise? because i like highway racing and i was wondering if the neon is capable of going 160+mph??? i know it depends on what mods but has anyone gone that fast in a 1st gen? on a 2.0L?

even with all the mods in the world, with a stock pcm the sohc will still only do 117mph and a dohc will do 130mph....you will just get there faster...
the posibilities are different with a performance pcm

There aren't many options for the ATX, but you can use an MTX one but you would need to add a transmission cooler or add a switch for your torque converter.
