tranny swap or full engine& tranny swap
I have a 98 dodge neon sohc with atx. I was thinking about converting it to a mtx. would it be better to do a full swap of srt-4 engine and tranny. for my money.i can get a engine and tranny for 500 from a srt-4. buddy of mine crashed his. what would be my best choice, also which would be easier? thanks

a srt-4 swap is not easy...but you have a friend with a donor car
so i say do that a neon can only go a 130mph on a good one and a srt-4 could go 160mph with a damn fine 0-60 it could take srt-4's anyday. SRT-4 SWAP[8D]

Swapping to an MTX would be easier and you need more than just the SRT engine and tranny for that swap. There is an in-depth how-to up top...read through it first before attempting the swap.
