eyelids look awesome the neon looks way too sissy without em in my opinion

 

Well you may be right on that........but I think the neon looks sick when they have the hood make the eye lids. I only know of one person thats completed this but he's on another forum.

Dont you think it looks wierd when you have this glossy paint job, then when you do the eyelids itdoesnt match up and looks like doo doo. I mean I guess it looks okay when done correctly, but I think it looks like crap when you just spray paint it.[>:]

 

i would honestly rather have flat black eyelids on a black paintjob than none at all.... and there is such thing as glossy paint and glossy vinyl

 

well first of all this is the way i got the car except without the wing but it looks like **** without one ( and i put the matching bumper on becuz there was no bumper.. so ofcourse i got the body kit bumper)... but i have performance part to back up the rice look i mean i dont have a **** load but headers, exhaust, cai, plugs ,,, soon to come UDP, TB spacer, And Larger TB Off of The Sohc Automatic i believe i was told that it was bigger.. and once this motor is done im hopeing to drop in an SRT4 motor it would be difficult but would love to have one.. and if not that then the srt4 turbo but by then i should know alot about the car and it should be to difficult(it still will be just nat as much)

I Used a High Gloss Paint And A Clear coat Which made it pretty shiny.. or so the light doesnt show through you could use the spray paint for plastic which is latex paint whihc would have a shine to it then put a clear coat over it

 

Ever thought of just dropping the body kit, hood,wing,and going back to stock? Im sure you could get some money for all that stuff, then buy some engine stuff, then after that stuff maybe throw on some other stuff & stuff.

 

ok since i would waist the money on stock body panels when the ones i have work just fine.. i would rather by theUDP and the TB in which i could prolly buy both of those for the price of the Hood ,Fenders, Front Bumper, And Rear bumper plus the price of the front and rear bumper brackets.. and the stock tail lights are ugly as hell

i think stock neons look gay and look like granny cars everytime i see one actually usually it is an old granny driveing... and like someone else said without the spoiler it looks like a fricken bubble and looks retarted... stock neons really do look gay take a look at them sometime.. the body kit gives it more agressive look IMO

and doing the 100k tune up is prolly gonna be around that much... but thats gonna be next summer


all you guys talk about it doing things to your engine but now your saying to spend the money on going back to stock instead of getting more parts for my engine

the only thing im doing that would make it sorta stock will be the spoiler which im gonna find a wing off a neon that looks good and then buy it

i don't think stock looks so bad but i do agree with you boxer on most things.... i alsothink that it isok to havea non stock body it gives you a sence of haveing your personality in your car who cares what someone thinks about your car i like it the way it is(not the hood but hey)other then that you have been doing damn fine jobwith that car
