On a SOHC, does in intake manifold just use the o-rings around the seals or does it also use the gasket that came with the kit? The one in the kit is basically just like exhaust gasket. What about the throttle body gasket? There is the o-ring and then another flat gasket that looks to go on the throttle body. I don't remember there being anything other than the o-rings when I disassembled it, but that was several weeks ago. Thanks again for all your help!!!

 

you dont need the flat gaskets....only the o-rings that seat in the grooves in the manifold.....just throw away all the flat ones....i believe the flat ones are only used on the 95's with the aluminum intake manifold
