Default removing the oil pan

Does anyone know howto get the bolt (yellow) that's covered by the front engine mount off? i'm trying to replace my oil pan.

And what eactly are the two bolts (green) used for?

I would say you will have to remove the front engine mount. As far as the bolt holes highlighted in green, I couldn't really tell ya. Here is a link to AutoZone's website and their removal/installation instructions. http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us...rInfoPages.htm Don't know what year your car is, but this page shows for 95-99. Please note that there are 3 sets of instructions, one for 95, one for 96-97, and one for 98-99. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!!!

yes you have to remove the front motor mount bracket to get to the yellow one...
as for the green ones, i know newer dohc mtx neons have an adaitional bracket that mounts to those holes and then to the bottom 2 bolt holes on the tranny for a bit of extra support
