WATER PUMP REMOVAL UPDATE
Well The hardest part about the job was pulling the damper off andkeeping theCam sprocketstill while removing the bolt that holds it on, also the motor mount boltsare a bit challenging with a ****ty jack under the engine but not too bad, I made some misatkes that were really common sense mistakes that if I would have taken 5 seconds more to think about beforeI did stuff that itwould haveeliminated most of the trouble I had.
I did this all in my gravel driveway with a grabel blanket layed outon the ground and I was dis-organised and lost tools in the blanket and dirt so I got more frustrated than the job required. Its actually apretty straight forward job if you know what size wrenches and sockets you need and keep them in view you'll be ok. Single Most hardest thing about the job which can be easily avoided is JUST BEING ORGANISED!
By being organised and having the right tools I'd say anybody could do this job who has patience,I had no patience so I need my brother to come over and point out the obvious for me and once I got my temper under wraps the job went together very fast. Only took 45 minutes to put everything back on! in contrast to taking 3 hours to disasemble.
The car runs great now, has STRONG LOW END POWERand doesnt overheat or leak anything so I'm happyier than Jim Nabors with a wheelbarrow full of buttholes. It was all worth it.
