According to K&N the dodge neon does not have a cold air intake is it possible to run a custom air intake from the duct behind the engine, against the firewall, to the wheel well and drilling a hole?

 

its FAR easier just to make the 3.0L CAI. i mean its simple!

 

welli have a 2.0l sohc and i want a stock air intake AND a cold air

 

why do u want to have a stock intake?

 

well at least for now cuz at christmas i hope my mom will get me a kn but still they dont make a cold air

 

ah ok. well honestly. when the times comes. it may be ghetto and not cool looking. but the 3.0L would be a FAR better investment. maybe $50 to make it and its an actual CAI. that goes in front of the transmission under the battery and not like the KN where it goes over the exhaust manifold.

 

well real fast wat do u mean by the 3.0L is that the engine size or wat

 

its just what we call it. the 3.0L homemade CAI. u take a part of the intake tube off a Caravan or something with the 3.0L V6. get some exhaust pipping. and a filter.
heres what mine looks like.

 

aw ok i get me and my friends were thinking of that well wat he did on his(he drags it) eliminate the pip and have a hole in his hood and attached the fliter rite tot the throttle body and the filter sticks out the hood

 

Not to crack on anyone but thatwould have to look stupid
