Its my understanding that when you get performance headers that they are supposed to bolt right in with no modifications. I say this because my brother in law has a 2002 neon atx and just installed his headers but two of the exhaust ports wouldn't line up...... his solution was to pry the two ports open more then install it. this has gotta eventually cause damage to the headers and even the head right?

Most headers don't just bolt-in. There may be some cutting required to the stock exhaust. But it should bolt up to the head.
