Default UDP questions? bout to buy, so help asap!

ok, i am ready to get me a UDP and new timing belt for my SOHC 2.0 MTX, since i have no idea when it was changed last. i am also gonna get a new alt. and water pump.

1. which site sells the udp that you don't have to bake or torch to get on? i know i have seen it on one of these neon forums and can't seem to find it again.
2. is there a different size timing belt since i will be using a udp on a non A/C car?
3. do i really need to replace the tensioner? is there some way to test it? worth the risk?
4. what is the best method (from experience, no guesses thank you very much) to attain TDC? turnin the key till it hits? large breaker bar on the crank?
5. which direction do you turn the crank one tooth to allow for the tensioner to not throw off your timing?
6. can i just leave that silly *** timing cover off or not? any who doesn't hav it on and still runnin? i would like to be able to inspect my timing belt from time to time without all the work of replacing it!
7. anything i am forgetting before i destroy my car?

any help is greatly appreciated, and to you guys that are gonna say,"get a hayne's manual!" GOT ONE! THESE QUESTIONS AREN'T ANSWERED IN THERE, well not enough for me to feel comfy takin all this apart.
[sm=deadhorse.gif] maybe, but all this stuff shoulda been stickied together by now.
das?

2.no diffence in timing belt
3.no need to replace the tensioner...unless it's gone bad...cheke mileage
4.
5.
6.take the cover off....but you will be sorry when a rock or some thing hits itso don't take it off some one asked that before and i said go to a shop that is good at makeing cool things with galss or some thing like that and have them make a clear one

7.have fun but i don't think you will destroy your car

i havent had any problems with my megan racing udp.....just need to measure the size for the new p.s. and alt. belts.....
i would highly reccomend not keeping the cover off....
the timing belt will not change.....all sohc cars have the same size belt...
you dont need to replace the tensioner.....but you will deffinately want to change the tensioner pulley...95% of the time when the timing belt breaks, it usually because the pulley bearings went out....
you turn the crank counterclockwise about 1 tooth when setting the timing....
easiest way to get to tdc is to just use a breaker bad on the crank bolt...

oh and get a haynes manual

Do not leave the time belt cover off. A good friend of mine left his off. He call ed me that very night because it had broke down. Towed it home and a rock or something broke the belt and destored the head.

where do i get a megan udp? how much? and even tho the pulley is smaller around, the belt will not be shorter? modern's comes with a free belt. for $109.99. unorthodox for $212.99? why double? and what about the tensioner pulley? autozone, advanced, or order from some aftermarket place?

also starting to see alot of people recommending catch cans. any input?

a catch can isonly needed on a turbo car.......not a n/a car

i got my megan pulley off of ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNDER...spagenameZWDVW
you will need to get new accessory belts

you can get the tensioner pulley in a timing belt kit that comes with the belt and pulley or buy them sepparately

why new accessory belt? i mean i was gonna replace while i had it off anyway. the accessory and timing are two different belts. also if i got the tensioner pulley/belt combo will the belt be short enough for the udp?
