Hello ...

I have a 96 Dodge Neon SOHC Automatic Transmission and have come across a problem i have never seen before. When i start up my car (cold start) my oil indicator lights comes on. Then after a while of driving, it starts to flicker and eventually turns off. I checked my oil levels and they are full. Any ideas what might be the cause? Any suggestions are appreciated.

The pressure switch could be bad, but it could also be a more serious problem such as a bad oil pump. Definitely get it checked.
