Car shuts off while driving about 5mphwhen i'm about topark. Doesn't do it all the time but it's been doing it lately. I pulled up NO CODES and i have about 145000 miles and i'm due for an oil change in about 800 mile. I use synthetic blend for high mileage and i do have a dirty intake filter. could that be the problem, a dirty air filter?? i'm going to replace it but can't seem to find the right size, 2.25". But in the mean time I've been using the K&N Air Filter Cleaner.Thanks for the feedback!

 

just to throw out there, make sure your T/B is clean and you have new spark plugs and wires, and throw in a fuel injector cleaner for the hell of it.

try a compression check to if you can so you can know how well your pistons are.

Don't waste your money on synthetic blends.
