Only the R/T and ACR's came with the Magnum engine...not ALL 2nd gens.

 

the only reason tho i did ask about the 2nd gen head is because i have never heard a 2nd gen knock like the 1st gens so i was wondering if a 2nd gen would work and just replace my entire head to stop my engine from knocking i wasnt looking for hp gain or anythig just wanted the knocking to stock but a hp gain would be nice lol.

 

I relaize that but you are saying they come with better cams....but only the Magnum engine has the more agressive cam.

well let me put it this wy if i got a 2nd gen head with everything in it just a base head what dodge cars would have a good cam that would work with the neon head for more power like a dodge avanger for example or something

i heard a throttle body from a 2.4 strat is a 60 mm and fits on the neon is this true???

 

welll i a sohc with a at tb and when i took the intake off the tb matched up perfectly and it is only 52mm

 

i heard u can use a throttle body from a strat which i heard was a 60 mm and you can put it on a sohc neon and get more throttle response

 

well it may fit and have more throttle response but you will have bore the intake man. to get more air and if you have that much air you need more fuel
