Default radio problem

alright well i really haven't been on in a while but i have been checking out all the posts!

TO MY PROBLEM!

when my radio got stolen i tried putting in another after-market radio it didn't work (radio was messed up)
when we re-wired the car the "always on" wire wasn't working right so we left it disconnected

for some reason this resulted in my dom light, sun visor lights and power side view mirrors to not work
it also resulted in my radio not keeping the time or the radio channels whenever i turned off the car

well i put in a brand new radio in and re-connected the "always on" wire and now whenever i turn my key the dom lights and sun visor lights work again
but it still doesn't keep the time when i turn off the radio

anyone have this problem?

ALSO!!!

i remember someone changing the colors of their stock gauge cluster (well just the orange) and was wondering if it was just the bulb that they changed or if the clear sheets behind the numbers are orange

thanks in advance!

Default RE: radio problem

thanks for all the info guys!

but concerning the radios, all of the wires are connected

i've been having this problem with the stock radio and now this radio

and das, thanks for the site!
on the site it's stated that there is the orange filter
i wanted to either just change all the colors (obviously not the redline) to white or blue)
my hopes and dreams have now been crushed
