I have a 1998 dodge neon and just this morning i got in it and the dome light and the door ajar lightgot stuck on when i shut the door.The whole ride to work the largegreen relay on the interior fuse panel was flickering.I got home and checked the fuses in the dash and underthe hood they were all fine. Then I went and bought a door jam switch andrelpaced the drivers side top switch. That didnt work either, i was wondering what else i could do and also what is the bottomdoor jambswitch for?

 

Try replacing the passenger side switch or re-fitting the passenger side door on it's hinges. Happened to me on a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee--couldn't find the reason until one day I happened to pull on the passenger door and it would always respond with shutting off the interior lamps. To fix it I 3M taped some hard plastic sheeting to the door jamb to push the switch in further, completing the connection.

I appretiate your help i went out and looked at my passenger door because i knew it wasent my drivers and pushed on it and that was my problem. I adjusted the door latch a little and problem fixed. Thanks Scott
