my auto trans sohc is leaking pretty bad...i checked all the hoses, and the transmission pan is not leaking...it appears to be leaking from the bell housing...the black peice on the rear of the trans...i went to napa autoparts, and they said their is no gasket that goes their...anybody have any advise on what it might be? Thank you

 

Are You Sure its transmission fluid?

Cuz my SOHC engine has an oil leak somewhere in the back of the engine and it leaks in that area.

 

no its trans fluid, the oil leak their, is a bad rear main seal...trust me i had to change that...i determind the leak was were the driveshaft goes into the trans...
