Hi guys... I am waiting for the title on the neon I posted about last week... I am thinking 'boutmaybe setting it up for autoX, since it does have close to 150K on it, trying to make a lot of power is just asking for problems. I would like to make it handel like a go cart though. So my question to those of you that 'cross... Did you just grab some KONI struts and a set of progressive springs? I dont have a ton of money to spend, but I can put a bit into it...
Any ideas?

yeah, I said progressive to see if the person knew what they were talking about. lol a nice linear set of springs would be a nice addition to a Koni setup. Does anyone know if bilstien makes a strut for the 1st gens? I will go look but if anyone has any experience with them, it would be nice to hear.
I used to have a set of gabriel shocks on my mustang, that setup was nice. those shocks with tien springs hung on to corners like crazy. it was fun.

I would lower it esp the back end.
Tires, Falcon Azenas are the way to go.Work well in different temps.
I tried khumo victor racers they were great but completely fell apart in 3-4 races.
Koni's will make all the difference.
p.s. I do the roundirounds not autocross.
