my wife was just going down the road it will just cut off, like it has no power, but then it starts right back up and runs good till next time, problem? andhow to fix. i have to know step by step as i am not mechanically inclined.any ideas will be grateful, tyi just checked the codes as someondesaid to do, switch on and off 2 times then on, no codes or lights showed up on dash, i checked engine oil, it was very low, some said if it was low on oil it would stop? im trying every thing, if it was fuel pump i would think it wouldnt start right back up and run good?, but then what do i know. lol ty

 

to get the codes you have to turn the ignition on ad off 3 times....not 2..
if the oil is low, the car wont shut off......it will just throw the oil light on
