ok then how would i go about on remeoving the a/c my book does not tell me how to. and also if i want to relocate my battery would i run the cables through the firewall or just underneath and then run though a hole in the trunk?

dont run the cables under the car.....thats got to be one of the stupidest things you could ever do....
run it through the firewall.....cuta hole in the rubber gromet that the main wire harness runs through

i didnt have to cut the grommet at all and i used two, 0 guage wires. there is plenty of room for them in the hole thru the firwall. then i just ran them under the carpet along the side of the car. check my pics.

i used 1 - 4 gauge wire

do you just ground the battery to the car or do you run the ground wire to the place were the ground is connected to know??

cuz i would think you would just ground it in the trunk somewere then ground the orrignal ground wire to the car also

just ground it to metal in your trunk

i grounded my battery to the same grounding point for 1 of the taillights.....
the starter and engine grounds are just bolted to one of the old battery tray bolts on the frame rail

i used 1 - 4 gauge wire
because all the posts i read about doin this at the time said to run at least 2 guage and run one to the fuse/relay box and the other to the starter. and run them both from the + battery terminal immediately into a 200 amp fuse block from an audio parts store. (they dont carry that high at autozone, etc.) no problems and no blown fuses so far. been 3-4 months and many many miles.
