Default SCCA car

I am just looking to get started in some SCCA racing and I am looking for a car. I was checking out the rules a little and am interested in starting in the stock class. I was thinking about a neon ACR or R/T. Do any of you guys run these at all? Any advice one way or the other?

ACR most defenatly for scca you have koni's witch are stock on the car and have compleate adjustablity. Some even come with adjustable camber but very rare and I belive at some point SCCA said no more of the adjustablility and would make you weld a stop in the camber adjustment slot.Plus you have the bigger sway bars witch will help with cornering alot. But there are a bunch of different reasons to go ACR. However you will pay a bit more. Koni's are the best thing in the world.

yeah ACR top pick. R/T second. or a Sport model with the DOHC. or a base 5-speed SOHC (their the lightest) but.....the least sporty per say. but i think my base is pretty sporty lol.
